Television Commercial Examples
Have you been thinking about television? Maybe you've decided against TV thinking
that the cost will be too expensive. THINK AGAIN! At BlueState Marketing, we can produce
a broadcast ready television commercial for as little as $400! Plus, now more
than ever, there are a lot of ways for you to display your commercial that are far less
expensive than broadcast: your web site, YouTube, cable television, a DVD at your county
fair or local Democratic Party headquarters. In fact, cable television is usually less expensive than radio ...
and so you get a lot of bang for your buck!
Of course, regardless of whether your television
commercial will be playing back on your web site ... or on a major market television station ... it will
be produced with the network, broadcast quality that our big Fortune 500 companies demand for
their television commercials. Think about that: network, broadcast quality ... but rates any
Democrat can afford! What's not to love about that?

Kreitlow For Senate: "TV Is Faster"
This TV spot has won multiple awards, including a Telly Award. A little setup is required for those people who aren't familiar with the
23rd Senate District. Pat Kreitlow, a former news anchor, was running against an 18 year incumbent state legislator who was known for
riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle supposedly as many as 70,000 miles per year around his district (and charging that mileage back to the
taxpayers .. imagine that!) Still, his image as a "biker" was seen as a strength so the strategy in this commercial was to turn that image into a
joke. It worked: Kreitlow defeated the incumbent.

Kreitlow For Senate: "Tranquility"
This TV spot has also won multiple awards, including a Telly Award. You have never seen a television commercial for
campaign like this one ... go ahead: just watch it! Now, imagine this spot in the middle of a commercial break filled
with loud automobile commercials ... and political ads. It WILL be noticed ... if only because there is absolutely
no spoken words in it at all.

Kreitlow For Senate: "Tranquility 2"
The follow up to Tranquility ... we would attempt to schedule this spot in the same break as Tranquility so that voters
would think they were about to see the same spot (they start with the same shot and same sounds) but then instead
they are surprised by Pat delivering a message about what he will do to protect our natural resources. A very
effective commercial and strategy.

Bob Jauch: "Working For Us"
Bob was running for reelection to the Wisconsin State Senate and just needed a simple spot reminding voters about
who he is and what he has done while in Madison. This is a great example of a low cost commercial, using simply
still images, that still conveys a strong message. Bob was reelected.

Roberta Rasmus: "Differences"
This is a great compare and contrast spot for Roberta Rasus, who was running for a seat in the Wisconsin State Assembly. First, it starts
with a negative look at her opponent and then nicely pivots with a positive message from Roberta. Very effective.

Kreitlow For Senate: "Special Interests"
This commercial does a great job of tackling special interest ads head on. We used a snippet of audio from an actual
special interest radio commercial at the very beginning and then a very effective message from Pat. Note the very subtle
reference at the end to Minnesota trash: in the garbage can is a Minnesota license plate and newspaper, as
well as a brochure from Pat's opponent, Dave Zein, who supported allowing Minnesota companies to dump their
trash in Wisconsin landfills. Subtle ... but effective!

Kreitlow For Senate: "Special Interest Ads 2"
Here's another commercial for the Kreitlow For Senate campaign that tackles the special interest ads head on ... plus gets another
jab in at his opponent for supporting allowing Minnesota companies to dump their
trash in Wisconsin landfills. A great example of a strong message and strong delivery connecting effectively with voters in a very
simple commercial.

Donna Seidel: "Working For Us"
Donna was running for reelection to the Wisconsin State Assembly and merely needed a straight forward commercial to reacquaint her with voters
and to remind them what she has done while in Madison. Donna was reelected.

Kerry Kittel: "Opening Doors"
A fairly straight forward television commercial introducing Kerry Kittel, candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly. We worked with Kerry on
his delivery so that he sounded relaxed and confident in his delivery ... something that we do with every candidate we work with.

Once again, a fairly straight forward television commercial introducing Roberta Rasmus, candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly. We also
worked with Roberta on her delivery so that she sounded relaxed and confident in her delivery on camera.

Kreitlow For Senate: "Public Lands"
Somewhat of a controversy during the tenure of the Republican led State Senate in Wisconsin was a tentative plan to sell off
some public lands to make up a budget deficit. In the 23rd Senate district, where hunting and fishing is regards as a God-given right,
the Kreitlow For Senate campaign was able to effectively turn that issue into a referendum on selling off hunting and
fishing land.

Kreitlow For Senate: "Health Care"
In 2006, just like today, health care costs were on voter's minds. The Kreitlow For Senate campaign again delivered
a strong message in a very personal way in a simple but effective commercial.

Kreitlow For Senate: "Contrasts"
Near the end of the campaign, it was time to bring out the "big guns" in this hard hitting commercial detailing
the incumbent's failures over the past 18 years. Hard hitting yes ... but also quite effective.

Kreitlow For Senate: "More Tranquility"
Finally, to close out the Kreitlow For Senate campaign, we thought we would return to a version of the tranquility spot since once again it
would stand out in a sea of loud, obnoxious political ads at the end of the campaign season.
